GradeMastery is an educational technology platform operated as a trading name. Our registered contact address for legal purposes is hello@grademastery.co.uk.
In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean GradeMastery. "You" means the person agreeing to these Terms, whether a student, parent, guardian, or teacher.
By creating an account or using GradeMastery, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
GradeMastery serves students from Year 7 (age 11) upwards. We take the protection of younger users very seriously and apply the following rules:
We reserve the right to verify age and to refuse or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements.
GradeMastery provides:
The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use only, unless you have entered into a separate school or institutional agreement with us.
Available to all users. Includes limited daily cards and AI features as described on our pricing page.
Standard, Premium, and Premium Plus subscriptions are available on monthly or annual billing cycles as described at grademastery.co.uk/pricing.
The Standard tier includes a 3-day free trial. No payment card is required for the free trial. At the end of the trial period, access reverts to the Free tier unless you choose to subscribe.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods already paid, except where required by law.
We do not offer refunds for subscription periods already used. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact hello@grademastery.co.uk within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate promptly.
We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. Continued use of the Service after the change date constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
Subsidised access for eligible students — including those receiving Free School Meals, Pupil Premium, and students in other qualifying circumstances — is available through our scholarship programme. Eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
We reserve the right to withdraw scholarship access if circumstances change or if the access is misused.
To apply, email hello@grademastery.co.uk with the subject line "Scholarship".
You agree not to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we reasonably believe your use is harmful or fraudulent. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action.
On termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. We will retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
